Richard Cyril Byrne Haking (Sir) (b. Jan. 24, 1862, Halifax-d. June 9, 1945), General in the British Army, was commissioned in 1881. At the outbreak of World War I, he was given command of the 5th Brigade, was wounded, and then became commander of the 1st Division and, later, XI Corps.
